The Art of Tien Tam: July 2012

Much needed update!

I updated my portfolio site, so now I'm updating my blog as well!

As I mentioned before I got a full time job a while back that's been keeping me rather busy.  I get to do a lot of cool 3d at my job along with picking up some After Effects magic.  Really great place to work, but I've been so busy I haven't posted anything. Well here's some stuff!  This is all stuff that I've done for my work, because of the nature of the company the models are usually of a mechanical nature, but their still pretty cool! Anyway...

sometimes these props start out small depending on the project I work on and they build into bigger stuff. Like going from some nails and a box of nails to a thousand nails in a pile! It all depends of what the subject matter is and what the assignment/storyboard calls for
sometimes the props require a cross section and an explanation of how they function (that's where the After Effects comes in).
Other times breaking the subject down and going deeper into a system and how individual components work is what is required.

I so glad I'm able to show what I've been doing for the last year and a half!  I plan to have more post coming soon!
